Mariko HINO

Biography

Born in the Tokyo, Mariko Hino entered the Kuwasawa Design School in 1985, where she studied photograph and visual design. After graduating in 1987, she first worked as a graphic designer, and then began a career in Art director and designing displays. Afterwards, she studied under photographer Kazuyuki Okajima, soon completing her master coursework. She received the Ryo Owada Award for her work in the ‘Heart Art Communication Best Artist Exhibition’ held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum. She currently works as a freelance photographer.
