Exciting weekend has started for the Singapore International Photography Festival 2016 To celebrate Daido Moriyama’s exhibition, “Daido Moriyama: Prints & Books from 1960s – 1980s”, which is on view from 6th October until 13rd November 2016 at the DECK, DAIDO x DECK Opening Party was held on 7th October there.
After the greeting of Gwen Lee, Artistic Director and Co-Founder of SIPF and DECK, Shohey Moriyama, represent Daido Moriyama Photo Foundation gave a speech. In addition, the interview of Daido Moriyama in Tokyo has been aired.
The evening presentations by seven artists was held at the same place. They gave a presentation about their works to be screened. Visitors enjoyed their presentation with drink and food.
