26 enthusiastic photographers from different parts of Malaysia travelled to Pantai Remis, Perak, to participate in it’s first photowalk in conjunction with the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk on October 1st 2016. The local council gave us a grand welcome with banner. Mr Chua Hock Boon from the local council welcomed us with a speech and hosted dinner for us in the evening on behalf of the Council Committee. Our gracious host Helen Koh joined the walk and made sure we had a great time.
The walk started at the oldest temple in Pantai Remis, then moved to the old town. We also visited the fishing village with fish unloading and package houses along Sungei Beruas River. The walk ended at a Soya Beam Curd store in the wet market. We enjoyed a bowl of silky smooth “Tau Foo Fah” and/or Soya Bean Milk whilst waiting for the others.

He is a photographer in Malaysia. For him photography is a way to express how he connects with people, places, nature and the environment. To be able to capture a particular moment especially a smile, expression, colors and light that people could connect with and do not get tired looking at these photos is what he aspires to achieve in his photos.
