It is a good way to encourage women to pick up cameras
With more and more women showing interest in photography, Sony Malaysia started a series of photography workshops called “Alpha Girlfriends Workshop”. It is exclusive for women. Compared to normal workshops, it focuses less on technical or how-to elements: instead it puts more emphasis on capturing the “feel”.
The workshop took place in a cafe on December 4th. More than 30 ladies attended it. Sony Malaysia also prepared some cameras and lenses to loan to those who don’t have a camera. So everyone could learn and experience hand-on shooting session during the workshop. Topics covered in the workshop were ones that ladies are interested in such as henna (mesmerizing), food photography and fun decoration with macarons. There were three trainers sharing their tips on how to capture the feel in each field.
