Open House of Adam Tan Photography Academy

By Barry Ong (Photographer/Malaysia)

It showcases the accomplished work of photographers who have attended the courses

Adam Tan Photography Academy had its first open house event to showcase the accomplished work of photographers who have attended the courses. Not restricted to a particular theme or genre, a wide variety of fine photos in monochrome and colors are on display, demonstrating the unique eye and connection of each photographer with their work.

The academy offers different levels of intensive classes from basic to advanced photography. Special topics such as long exposure, minimalist art, architecture photography and photo editing courses are also offered. Most of the courses include in-house sessions and outings.

A message hangs on the wall: ‘Mine eye is in the mind’. Adam Tan, the founder, gives advice to would-be photographers, borrowing the words of Susan Welchman: don’t be too critical that your photo is not good and keep trying and improving.

The exhibit of the photographers will be on display until June 10th 2017.

The academy is located at D-01-02, First Floor, Block D, Sky Park @ One City, Jalan USJ 25/1, 47600 Subang Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia
