Nature Thru’ The Lens- MNS Photography Exhibition & Fundraising

By Barry Ong (Photographer/Malaysia)

What better way than to collaborate in an exhibition to showcase the diverse facets of nature and exotic flora and fauna of Malaysia

A group of 24 photographers from Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) Selangor Branch Photo Group wanted to bring the awareness of the conservation of our nature in our country for a sustainable future in conjunction with World Environment Day. What better way than to collaborate in an exhibition to showcase the diverse facets of nature and exotic flora and fauna of Malaysia. Proceeds from the sale of the exhibits will be used to fund MNS quest to promote awareness of the beauty of nature and the need to practice conservation for a sustainable future generation.

It is a great way to get acquainted with the different elements and different life forms of the environment we lived in which is often taken for granted or overlooked. With expertise in specialized interests groups such as herpetology, birds, some of the photographers could also provide more in-depth knowledge of the location, flora or fauna of Malaysia.
